Perfume Junky

This week was Pink Perfume.

I had a few to sample and my favourite ones were Versace Bright Crystal and Lancome Miracle.

This Perfume is extremely glamorous and feminine  perfect for when you want to dress up.

First discovered this in Selfridges.

The other one I purchased is Lancome Miracle.

Got a few samples of Lancome in a gift box.

Out of all the pink ones I opted for this one as it isn't sugary.

It is lovely and feminine.

Also tried a few other pink perfumes that were quite masculine.

Some women prefer masculine fragrance I don't, but I'm not a fan of sugary sweet perfume either.

Conclusion

These two perfumes just get the balance of pink right for me.

If you want to purchase them the links are in Perfume Junky Archive.

I think they available from your perfume shop also, they seem really popular.

Just look for the Pink Perfume folder.

If you are interested but not sure the samples are a brilliant idea.

Enjoy

 PERFUME JUNKY

Have been trying to get this perfume for ages and finally received some this weekend.

I'm a convert to yellow now as it makes you feel summery in Winter.

So first of all I found I loved the packaging.

It is also black and gold graphics, really stylish.

The fragrance:

Product details

Dolce Vita, the fragrance of happiness recalls the carefree, heart-lifting nostalgia of driving a convertible along the Italian Riviera. A dazzlingly feminine and joyful fruity/floral fragrance with spicy, sensual undertones of cedar, it incarnates the spirit of Dior in all its sumptuousness.

The magnolia flower is white or cream-colored and in the delicate shape of a star. It has a strong floral fragrance with vanilla-scented accents. The magnolia beautifully leads the top notes of Dolce Vita.

Cinnamon is the oldest of spices. Grown in Ceylon, it is often used in spicy and oriental fragrances. Known as a stimulant, this timeless scent is used in the heart note composition of Dolce Vita.

Review

Cedar lifts moods so I found the colour and fragrance lifted my English Winter Mood.

Most of the weekend my mind was somewhere more summery and happy because of this fragrance.

Before perfume junky I couldn't afford a lot of perfume so mainly chose Shalimar, Chanel or Avon.

Stepping outside my limitations is like being a little girl in a sweety shop free to have all the sweets of my choice.

Think I like having all the perfume to try and enjoy.

Not sure what I expected this to be like.

It possibly is stronger than I imagined due to the oriental addition to the blend.

I love that it is oriental but also daytime.

The bottle design is gorgeous too.

Think it is perfect on the hostess trolley of a flight going to a summery location.

You just need the outfit and jewellery to match.

Conclusion

Hope you got your bottle too if you have been trying to get this too.

If you like this idea it is just a bit of fun, I don't make money just try and

make my life how I want it.

Enjoy

 Perfume Junky

This year I have got some perfume hauls.

Really excited as one of my goals/wish lists was to start a perfume collection.

I studied collectable perfumes a little during a detox for something to take my mind off alcohol.

For a perfume to be worth something in a collection it needs to be limited or unique.

My journey now is to try a lot of perfume and discover new favourites.

I imagine limited and collectible perfumes could turn up along this journey so these would be worth collecting.

The fun side of this therefore is to just use and enjoy everything I recieve unless it is collectible then you don't even take the wrappings off ~ sounds extreme but if you are using the uncollectable one it doesn't matter.

(I have a Shalimar box that might be collectible, I got it from a budget makeup shop. I used some of the perfume though.  I could get a bottle and replace it if it was worth something.  As this was one of my first attempts at collecting keeping it anyway.  I don't think it was in plastic when I purchased it anyway.)

I already love this perfume as I got it in an Elizabeth Arden free gift promotion.

These types of perfume are possibly more for daytime or to create an ambience.

This whole experience is very creative and poetic.

Having a lot of fun as this is all I'm doing having some fun.

Couldn't help realise it matched a choker I have made myself.

It is inspired by nature and one of my favourite projects.

Hope to get back into designing.

I qualified in design at University but went into sales then teaching.

Really happy with this first perfume and how it matches one of my chokers.

Hope you enjoy this new journey and you discover some new perfumes too.

Will be lovely if we find some collectibles too.
