Yardley English Rose Was delighted to receive this haul after The Victorian Party. My roots aren't England, but I was born here so I suppose I am an English Rose by birth. Where I grew up still had design left from Victorian Times so I found myself in Victorian Times. I obviously don't have a Victorian dress and don't want one, so I found a pretty feminine floral dress to wear. This perfume is really me as it is soft and feminine. I also love the bottle and packaging design; it would look lovely on a shabby chic dressing table if your an old fashioned romatic type of woman like me. The fragrance isn't strong or long lasting, but it doesn't cost a lot so you can afford to keep topping it up. Great if you don't like to overpower people in the daytime. I don't care either way as I'm a perfume junky. The packaging design is also really pretty. Didn't think I'd ever get this even though the garden centre round the corner from me used to sell it and t...
Perfume Junky Obviously perfect for Valentines day. Love Dolce and Gabana perfume. This is the type of perfume I always went for before becoming a perfume junky. Brilliant perfume and advert. Exciting!!!! Dolce&Gabbana The One Eau de Parfum
PERFUME JUNKY Have been trying to get this perfume for ages and finally received some this weekend. I'm a convert to yellow now as it makes you feel summery in Winter. So first of all I found I loved the packaging. It is also black and gold graphics, really stylish. The fragrance: Product details Dolce Vita, the fragrance of happiness recalls the carefree, heart-lifting nostalgia of driving a convertible along the Italian Riviera. A dazzlingly feminine and joyful fruity/floral fragrance with spicy, sensual undertones of cedar, it incarnates the spirit of Dior in all its sumptuousness. The magnolia flower is white or cream-colored and in the delicate shape of a star. It has a strong floral fragrance with vanilla-scented accents. The magnolia beautifully leads the top notes of Dolce Vita. Cinnamon is the oldest of spices. Grown in Ceylon, it is often used in spicy and oriental fragrances. Known as a stimulant, this timeless scent is used in the heart note composition of Dolce Vita. ...
Perfume Junky This year I have got some perfume hauls. Really excited as one of my goals/wish lists was to start a perfume collection. I studied collectable perfumes a little during a detox for something to take my mind off alcohol. For a perfume to be worth something in a collection it needs to be limited or unique. My journey now is to try a lot of perfume and discover new favourites. I imagine limited and collectible perfumes could turn up along this journey so these would be worth collecting. The fun side of this therefore is to just use and enjoy everything I recieve unless it is collectible then you don't even take the wrappings off ~ sounds extreme but if you are using the uncollectable one it doesn't matter. (I have a Shalimar box that might be collectible, I got it from a budget makeup shop. I used some of the perfume though.  I could get a bottle and replace it if it was worth something.  As this was one of my first attempts at collecting keeping it anyway....
