Perfume Junky
This year I have got some perfume hauls.
Really excited as one of my goals/wish lists was to start a perfume collection.
I studied collectable perfumes a little during a detox for something to take my mind off alcohol.
For a perfume to be worth something in a collection it needs to be limited or unique.
My journey now is to try a lot of perfume and discover new favourites.
I imagine limited and collectible perfumes could turn up along this journey so these would be worth collecting.
The fun side of this therefore is to just use and enjoy everything I recieve unless it is collectible then you don't even take the wrappings off ~ sounds extreme but if you are using the uncollectable one it doesn't matter.
(I have a Shalimar box that might be collectible, I got it from a budget makeup shop. I used some of the perfume though. I could get a bottle and replace it if it was worth something. As this was one of my first attempts at collecting keeping it anyway. I don't think it was in plastic when I purchased it anyway.)
I already love this perfume as I got it in an Elizabeth Arden free gift promotion.
These types of perfume are possibly more for daytime or to create an ambience.
This whole experience is very creative and poetic.
Having a lot of fun as this is all I'm doing having some fun.
Couldn't help realise it matched a choker I have made myself.
It is inspired by nature and one of my favourite projects.
Hope to get back into designing.
I qualified in design at University but went into sales then teaching.
Really happy with this first perfume and how it matches one of my chokers.
Hope you enjoy this new journey and you discover some new perfumes too.
Will be lovely if we find some collectibles too.
