PERFORMANCE/ANNA SUI

THIS IS WHERE MY FILM FASHION PROJECT STARTED.  ANNA SUI IS A FASHION DESIGNER FAMOUS FOR BEING INSPIRED BY FILMS.

THE FILM PERFORMANCE IS ONE OF HER RENOWNED INSPIRATIONS.

IN FACT DISCUSSING MODEL HEIGHTS AND WEIGHTS ETC.  ANNA SUI DESIGNED HER PERFORMANCE COLLECTION BASED ON ANITA PALLENBURG.  ANITA WAS 5FT 4, I THINK?, (THIS IS GOING OFF INTERNET HEIGHTS THAT ARE OFTEN WRONG),  ANYWAY ANITA PALLENBURG WAS A MODEL.  THIS IS WHY I THOUGHT I HAD A CHANCE WITH ANNA SUI'S FASHION FITTING.  UNFORTUNATELY I HAVEN'T ANITA PALLENBURG'S FIGURE, BUT I AM THE SAME HEIGHT.

ASIDE FROM SIZINGS, I WAS ALREADY A MASSIVE FAN OF ANNA SUI.  IN FACT I WAS ONCE LUCKY ENOUGH TO PURCHASE AN ANNA SUI TOP IN A CHARITY SHOP, UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS SIZE 14 SO IT WAS TOO BIG, BUT I BOUGHT IT ANYWAY BECAUSE I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.  

IT WAS CLASSIC ANNA SUI PURPLE WITH SILVER SPANGLY GLITTER EFFECT.  YOU SEE I CAN ACTUALLY RECOMMEND ANNA SUI.  SHOWS IT FITS AS WELL AND IS NORMAL SIZINGS.

PERFORMANCE THE FILM

IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN PERFORMANCE, I REALLY RECOMMEND IT.  IT IS GANGSTER MEETS HIPPIE.

AS WELL AS ANITA PALLENBURG IT STARS ROCK ICON SIR MICK JAGGER.  THIS FILM IS SUITABLE FOR ANYONE REALLY.

IF YOU ARE A FAN OF FILM FASHION I REALLY, REALLY RECOMMEND THIS FILM.  YOU DON'T ALWAYS HAVE TO PURCHASE FILMS IF YOU SURF THE INTERNET, BUT THIS IS ONE WORTH COLLECTING.

IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO FIND A LOOK BECAUSE OF COVID, PERFORMANCE MAY INSPIRE YOU TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT.  IF NOTHING ELSE IT GIVES YOU IDEAS HOW TO STYLE COVID FASHION IN A DIFFERENT WAY.  ANITA PALLENBURG HAD SUCH A GOOD FIGURE AND WAS SO SLIM SHE COULD WEAR ANYTHING.  SHE WOULD OF THOUGHT HOW TO RESTYLE COVID FASHION.  SHE EVEN WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AND GOT A FASHION DEGREE AS SHE WAS SO GOOD.

 A SUMMER HOLIDAY PARTY ABROAD This idea is something just about everyone wants I would guess.  The dream destinations will obviously vary, but it is one of the reasons we work hard so we can travel to sunnier climes than Britain and have well-earned rest and luxury. Saturday Food The idea is either: 70's buffet party, which could include Swedish food.    Not sure if Ikea is back fully yet, but when it is there are loads of party ideas available.  I actually once impressed a snobby foody by making  hors d'œuvre  from Ikea products, shocked myself but it did.  Suppose I did get Home Economics at school.  Until Ikea is back you can just get whatever there is at the supermarket. A September Island Holiday I got this idea from Japanology. Then thought of Island Holidays around the world. I find this subject a challenge as someone like me isn't supposed to dream of holidaying beyond designated holiday destinations within my class or status. I moved from working class to middle class and not sure what I am now. Have studied this one as for instance Japan is classed as an Island which I didn't know. Britain is an Island but I did that with British June. Ireland is an Island independent of Britain. Decided to feature this instead. Another place I'd like to visit.  A tarot friend of yore recommended Dublin and The Crowley deck ~ she was right about the Tarot deck. Also, we love Irish coffee ~ you can also make calypso coffee.  80's party easy access post Used to do this on Tumbler but it wasn't working properly last time so giving this website a try instead.  Have added advertising to make this legal. Just add your 80's fayre, whatever you can get at the moment, till things get better, your favorite 80's tipple, (alcoholic or nonalcoholic) and sit back and enjoy your fave film, will put my film recommendations on here but you can browse Pinterest for loads more 80's film and Tv choices.  Then get up and have a dance in your living room to a top of the pops party and take in some or all of the concerts.  In the COVID lockdown, we stayed up all night till the Waterloo sunset.  Lastly ~ enjoy!!!
